Give 2 drops for each 5 pounds of body weight of your pet twice daily as a starting amount.
This amounts to more than 0.5 mg/kg and less than 1.0 mg/kg. (1 kg = 2.2 pounds)
For most animals this seems to work just fine, but for a few who are overweight, or whose conditions are pretty severe, a higher amount may be needed.
Smaller amounts than this have been shown to help, and sometimes, your pet might need a higher dose. It generally takes about 7-14 days for the CBD to reach a “steady state” in your pet’s system, so I suggest giving your pet some time (10-14 days) with the initial dose of the HempRx Feline Drops before deciding to increase it.
If your pet responds well to the initial dose, that is great, and after a month or so, you might actually be able to lower the dose and still get the same results.
